Bhagat Mahasabha observes Nirvan Divas of Sant Kabir

JAMMU, Feb 20: The Nirvan Divas of Sadguru Bhagat Kabir was observed by Bhagat Mahasabha Tataryal, block Marh, with religious fervour and gaiety today.
A large number of devotees drawn form different parts of the Jammu participated in the function and paid their obeisance to this great Guru.
MLA Marh Ch. Sukhnandan was the chief guest on the occasion and he announced Rs 5 lakh for construction of community hall in Tataryal. The MLA assured to provide every possible help and support to the Bhagat community.
A Satsang and Kirtan was also held on the occasion by Swami Milkhi Ram Bhagat of Gorda. He urged the Sangat to follow the teachings of Bhagat Kabir as his teachings alone can bring Megh community out of the darkness and backwardness.
He urged the Megh community to remain aloof from bad company and be vigilant against the people who have betrayed it in the past.
He also announced the names of office bearers to further strengthen Bhagat Mahasabha in J&K.
In his address Bodh Raj Bhagat state president of the organization demanded that Parkash Divas of Bhagat Kabir on June 15 be declared as State holiday. Milkhi Ram Bhagat, Chairman, Coordination Committee, Mahinder Bhagat, Tara Chand, Samsar Chand, Charan Dass, Sasher Bhagat, Balwinder Bhagat and others were also present on the occasion.

कबीर निर्वाण दिवस पर भव्य कार्यक्रम : भगत महासभा की मढ़ इकाई की ओर से रविवार को कबीर साहिब के निर्वाण दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस मौके पर मढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र से विधायक चौधरी सुख नंदन मुख्य अतिथि थे जबकि भगत महासभा के राष्ट्रीय प्रधान प्रो. राज कुमार भगत अतिथि विशेष थे

दोमाना। भगत महासभा की मढ़ इकाई की ओर से रविवार को कबीर साहिब के निर्वाण दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस मौके पर मढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र से विधायक चौधरी सुख नंदन मुख्य अतिथि थे जबकि भगत महासभा के राष्ट्रीय प्रधान प्रो. राज कुमार भगत अतिथि विशेष थे। मढ़ के तातरयाल में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में भगत बिरादरी की महिलाएं और पुरुष उपस्थित थे। इस मौके पर कीर्तन भी किया गया। विधायक का कहना था कि कबीर साहिब के बताए हुए रास्ते पर चलकर ही समाज में सुधार लाया जा सकता है।

इसके अलावा विधायक ने मढ़ में भगत बिरादरी द्वारा बनाए जा रहे मंदिर के साथ कम्युनिटी हाल बनाने के लिए पांच लाख रुपए अपने विधायक निधि फंड में से देने का ऐलान भी किया। इस मौके पर लोगों ने मांग की कि भगत महासभा ने कबीर जी के निर्वाण दिवस 15 जून को राज्य में छुट्टी की घोषणा करनी चाहिए। विधायक ने उन्हें आश्वासन दिलवाया कि वह भाजपा विधायक दल से बात कर इस बात को विधानसभा में रखेंगे। इस मौके पर विधायक को सिरोपा भेंट कर सम्मानित भी किया गया। इस मौके पर भगत महासभा के राज्य प्रधान बोध राज भगत, मिल्खी राम भगत, महेंद्र भगत, ताराचंद, संसार चंद, चरणदास, शमशेर भगत, बलविंद्र भगत, सुरेंद्र भगत, तरसेम भगत, चमन लाल, हकीकत राज भगत के अलावा अन्य लोग भी उपस्थित थे।

Bhagat Mahasabha organizes Satsang at Jammu on 2/1/2011

JAMMU, Jan 2: Bhagat Mahasabha today organized a Satsang at Kabir Mandir, Old Rehari, in which large number of people of Megh Samaj participated.
Bhajans and Sabad kirtan about the teachings of Sadguru Kabir was sung by Milkhi Ram Bhagat of Gorda.
Speaking on the occasion, Milkhi Ram Bhagat, Chairman appealed the Megh Samaj to get united and follow the teachings of Sadguru Kabir. He further said that backwardness of Megh Samaj is because of selfishness, ego, illiteracy and not following the teachings of Sadguru Kabir. He cautioned Megh Samaj to remain vigilant against decisive forces, who are working against interest of community.
Everyone pledged to free Megh Samaj from social evils like drinking alcohol, smoking, dowry etc and work hard to spread education among Megh Samaj.
A 10 member Satsang and Langar Management Committee was also formed which will manage all affairs of monthly Satsang to be held on every first Sunday of month at Sabha.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Rajesh Bhagat, Er Sudesh, Er. Jai, Mahinder Bhagat, Tara Chand Bhagat, Girdhari Lal, Swarn Lal, Sansar Bhagat, Sewa Ram, Rattan Lal, Ram Lal, Satya Devi and Chanchla Bhagat
